Wear clothing that compliments your skin tone. Neutral browns and blues look nice on the majority of subjects.
With group portraits, try to coordinate outfits -have all people have similar shirts or slacks on or both. Khaki pants and blue shirts would be an example.
With children or infants, try to schedule sittings after nap times or when the child is in the best mood during the day.
Feel free to bring your own props or hobby items.
